Who we are

Dog Food Math is a project by Kauri Markkanen, an independent app builder in Finland (kaurimark.com). Contact: hello@kaurimark.com.

What we keep

• Your dog's weights, name and food numbers stay in your browser. We do not send them anywhere or store them.
• The calculator on the home page uses no cookies and no ad trackers. It sends anonymous usage events to PostHog (in the US): which steps you used, the body shape you picked, the estimated weeks, how far you scrolled, and the site that sent you. Each page visit gets a new random id, so visits are not linked to you or to each other.
• Cloudflare hosts this site and may keep standard technical logs.

Weight plan pages (/lose)

• We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on these pages to see which screens people reach and where they stop. Clarity records clicks and scrolling. Both set cookies.
• We send them the screen name only, never your dog's details or weights.
• If you buy, Stripe handles the payment and your email. We use your email only to send the weekly weigh-in.
• The weigh-in page uses no analytics. Your dog's weights stay in your link and your browser.
